    Flight simulator 2020 installation issue: My device is recognized in microsoft account but...


    I have purchased Flight Simulator and the button for "Install" appears correctly when I am logged into my microsoft account.


    The PC I want to install on is also appearing correcly under devices in my microsoft account with no errors


    However, once I start installing, an error message appears:

    "Where do you want to install?



    It looks like you don’t have any applicable devices linked to your Microsoft account. To install, sign in on a device with your Microsoft account."


    So somehow, the device PC is no longer recognized? I have build 1909 and updated everything.

    I have seen that many people seem to have this problem.


    Anybody that can help?

    Microsoft Flight Simulator issue after Windows 10 Upgrade

    Hi Rahul,



    Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.



    I suggest you to completely uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator and check.

    Refer the steps below to uninstall.

    • Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel.
    • Open programs and features.
    • In the list of installed programs, select Microsoft Flight Simulator, and then click
      Remove.


    Note: If you have earlier versions of Flight Simulator in the list of installed programs, you will have to remove them in addition to Flight Simulator.



    Reinstall the Flight Simulator.



    Please reply to us if the issue still persist.
