Windows 10: Flight Simulator Standard

I purchased Standard MS Flight Simulator a few months ago and installed it on my PC. The PC didn't meet the requirments so I figured I'll hold off and get a new PC as I wanted Windows 11 anyway. I purchased a new screaming Dell and started the install. It takes about 4 or 5 hours with the 10 DVDS. After the last DVD it says my code has already been redeemed. At this point I'm thinking there might be an option to move the license from the old PC but I had already uninstalled it. I tried several things I found on your help site. The last one was to go to your app store and followed

I suggest you to completely uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator and check.

Refer the steps below to uninstall.

• Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel.
• Open programs and features.
• In the list of installed programs, select Microsoft Flight Simulator, and then click
  Remove.

Note: If you have earlier versions of Flight Simulator in the list of installed programs, you will have to remove them in addition to Flight Simulator.



Reinstall the Flight Simulator.

Follow the steps below on how to install Microsoft flight simulator xin compatibility mode:

1. Download the Microsoft flight simulator xfrom the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the Microsoft flight simulator xinstall and then check the functionality.
