Windows 10: folder reappers after deleting

Discus and support folder reappers after deleting in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I've uninstalled oracle10g on windows 10 , i couldn't find its registry files to delete so i deleted the whole oracle folder but some files are still...     folder reappers after deleting


    I've uninstalled oracle10g on windows 10 , i couldn't find its registry files to delete so i deleted the whole oracle folder but some files are still ion the folder and window didn't let me delete the folder saying its is open in other program so i formatted the whole drive but folder keeps reappearing after deleting . how do i get rid of it?

    Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

    *Confused folder reappers after deleting :confused:

    Will I be forever stuck with these unnecessary folders? *Oh Well folder reappers after deleting :eek:hwell:

    Unable to delete a folder - Invalid folder name


    Suggestion:
    1. Run chkdsk x: /r to make sure that there's no HD corruption.
      x: is the drive containing the folder you want to delete.
    2. Try to delete the folder again. If still does not work, go to step 3.
    3. Download: Download - Linux Mint and create a bootable USB using: Rufus - Create bootable USB
    4. Boot up with Linux Mint and try to delete the folder again.
      NOTE: Unlike WinPE. Linux does not have any Windows permission imposed to it so it is easier to delete.

    old desktop icons reappered - can't delete


    I have a load of old shorcuts reappered on my desktop, they are not clickable so can't delete them & they are also not appearing in my desktop folder, i have tried to delete the thumbnail cache but had no luck, how can i get rid of theses?
