Windows 10: Folder Thumbnails not loading

So my folder thumbnails dont load and i see this instead of some of the pictures that are in the folder i see this


i did disk cleanup for thumbnails restarted my pc and then i could see the thumbnails in This Pc > Pictures but the subfolders still dont load but other files in there do load like this . This only happends in This PC > Pictures and not in for example This PC > Documents

I have windows 10 (not activated)

Hi, have you done any research on this? A general search for

But there are so many factors: how large a file is each image: where are the files located: what is the speed of access to that location: what else is the PC doing at the same time..... (check your task manager).

Windows crashes while loading video thumbnails

Original Title: crashes while loading video thumbnails

i have installed windows 10 four times and uninstalled it in just 2 to 3 days because of only one problem it crashes while loading video thumbnails,i was so excited about windows 10 but it really sucks,i have around 120 gb of videos in different folders
and while loading thumbnails my system crashes.System details

MODEL-hp 440 G2

core-i5

ram-8gb

amd graphics

please suggest me any solution.

 

Windows 10 showing device icons instead of thumbnails in folders

There's a possibility that some folder settings may have changed. It could be set to show icons and not thumbnails. To verify that, please follow the steps below:

• Open the File Explorer.
• Click the View tab.
• On the upper-right corner, click Options.
• On the Folder Options, click the View tab.
• Under Files and Folders, uncheck Always show icons, never thumbnails.
• Click Apply, then OK.

Once done, try checking if the folder icons are already showing thumbnails.

Update us with the result.
