  1. Folder viewing formats

I have a problem/request/how to that is difficult to describe so perhaps explaining what I want to happen will be easier.

I am a Retail Photo Lab owner and I have a system for allowing customers to remotely create a folder in a specific location within my Dropbox tree without being required to sign into my Dropbox account*. The app creates a folder in the customer's own name, for example, if Fred Smith wants to send photos to me from his iPhone, they will end up in the following folder

    C:\Dropbox/photos/incoming/fred-smith

What I want is for any folder created in C:\Dropbox/photos/incoming to have a default view that is different from the default view in the /incoming folder itself. I want the /incoming folder view to be "Details" but all of its sub-folders to be "Large icons"

Is there a way to do this in WIndows 10?

    * Anyone wondering about security, don't worry. The access is limited to sending only. The pictures can only go to a specific Dropbox tree location , they cannot see what is in there... its write only

    :)

    Problem in nokia X3-00 inbox

Do you get 'Messaging' folder ? ..and is there a 'Conversation' folder in that ? This view shows the messages in CHAT format..If this is the case and you want INBOX view.. goto..Messaging-->Message Settings-->General Settings-->Change Message View... and
    select Inbox view...

  3. File explorer search window

Since the anniversary upgrade the format of the results pane for a search is no longer retained.

Instead, whenever a new folder window is opened to search, the format always defaults to a 'Contents' view which is not what I want.

In addition, the default search is not alphabetical (sorted by relevance'!).

I now have to go to 'View' and select 'details'.

Left Click on the table headings to get names in alphabetical order.

    Right Click, select 'more'.

Delete all headings except 'Name' and 'Folder' and set up the widths of the columns.

Note that the search pane format was saved separately to the normal view folder options.
