Windows 10: Force Restart While Updating win 10 2004 Update.

Hi,


When i tried to update win 10 from 1909 to 2004 while getting ready, when it gates on 87%...98% my PC Just gates Shutdown and then restarts and again there is option to download win 10 V 2004.

I tried to update manually but when the update was downloaded the issue of force restart was there.


Help me with it.

Win 10 1607 update

Installed the update manually at the the moment everything is bueno.
It seems that Microsoft has a big problem in there update department windows 7 update has problems win 8 update has problems. Windows 10 update is so-so.

Microsoft apparently has now decided to block force installs.

IMO, no.

Additionally, there has also been a change in how Microsoft handles attempted forced installs of the ISO on a system that has a block.

I was able to force install it in early June, and I tested it for a couple days before rolling back to 1909.

It will now stop the install, tell you your PC is not ready, and gracefully exit the installer.

So that's a "tell".
