Windows 10: Forced into no updates, or a 24H2 update that doesn't work

Yesterday I decided to try the 24H2 update on my main home PC, since I'd seen it on a few work PCs and it seemed fine. Well, it wasn't fine. About 50% of the time on boot I'd just get an unresponsive black screen. Oh well, I reverted and went on with my day. Couple of side effects, for example the Microsoft store broke, but I was able to fix it.WELL...Since it had previously been an update I had to manually select, it didn't occur to me to be wary of it AUTOMATICALLY installing AGAIN tonight. So now I'm sitting here looking at an FYI that I need a restart to finish installing. With no way to s

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

Double Tap doesn`t work on Lumia 620

Hello,

Double Tap to wake doesn`t work at my Lumia 620. I have all on in settings but still doesn`t work. I`m pretty sure that in update AMBER or BLACK this function works properly. But after DENIM update doesn`t. Maybe you are planning some update for this future
?

Scanner doesn´t work anymore after last Windows 10 update

As many people on the internet already are discussing, their scanner doesn´t work anymore after the last Windows update. But there seem to be no solution.

My Scanner starts making noises, as usual, and then i get error messages: "Communication with the scanner is not possible"
or this




Is there a workaround for that?
