Windows 10: Forgot Microsoft account password. Picture log in disappeared after up

Hi so my laptop recently automatically updated and I had previously created an microsoft account in order to use Cortana which was years ago. I forgot the password but luckily had picture sign in enabled. Unfortunately after the update the additional sign on options were no longer available and it's asking for my Microsoft password which I forgot. And yes I've already tried to recover it but I no longer have the phone number associated with that email. Luckily there is another account I can sign into but it doesn't have administrator privileges. So how would I go about resetting the password

I forgot my Laptop Password but I remember my PIN. I want to change the password and I need help with it.

Go Settings, Accounts, Your Info, Manage my Microsoft account. There you can change your password.

Also if you are up to date there should be log-on selection on the Lock screen and I forgot.

Select password and the click on I forgot my password.

 

reset windows 10 password while I can log in using picture password

After setting picture password for windows 10, I forgot my text password. Now I can log in the system using the picture password but can't reset the text password.

I have checked all possible passwords, with caps lock on or off.

I have tried to use the default built-in administrator account but can't log in without password.

Don't have a password recovery disk...

Are there any possible ways to reset the password since I do have access to the system now?

You could try resetting your MSA password online at Microsoft using Option Three below.
