Windows 10: Forgot password for Windows 10 Machine and can’t login anymore

Hi I am new here, please help urgently I forgot my password for my windows 10 machine and can’t log in, I have very very very very important data that I can’t afford to lose, please donate some solutions to me as I am desperate , thank you.

If it's a Microsoft account, you should be able to change the password via another computer at live.com and the password should also change to match on the computer (obviously make sure it has internet access first). The password is verified online during login.

For future reference, there have been reports that this was patched out several weeks back. I found an alternative method doing some registry diving.

Administrator forgot password and/or is not working anymore, cannot login

I suggest you to boot through Windows 10 recovery media, then open Command Prompt from Windows Recovery Environment and enable Built in Administrator.

Follow the below steps to enable Built in Administrator:

• Open Command Prompt from Windows Recovery Environment.
• Copy and paste the below command and press Enter.

net user administrator /active:yes

3. Close the Command Prompt and try to login though Built in Administrator.

4. Change the earlier password or you can create new user account.
