    Forgot password to uninstall Trend Micro OfficeScan


    I purchased Windows 10 to upgrade from Windows 7. The setup says it can not proceed until I uninstall Trend Micro Office Scan as it is not compatible with Windows 10. But I have forgotten the password to do this. How do I uninstall Trend Micro Office Scan if I have forgotten the password?

    I've already uninstalled Trend Micro OfficeScan Client but the problem is still there.

    Is there any way to run the compatibility test again?

    To better understand the issue, we'd like to get the following information:

    • Which password are you not able to remember? Is it your Windows password or your password in Trend Micro OfficeScan?
    • Have you tried uninstalling Trend Micro OfficeScan? If yes, what is the result?
    • Are you getting any error messages or error codes? If yes, kindly send us a screenshot.

    undetectable Trend Micro Internet Security 2008

    Hello, I am trying to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I performed the quick check, and it stated that everything was compatible except I needed to uninstall Trend Micro Internet Security 2008, as it wasn't compatible with the upgrade. I've exhausted
    every option on Trend Micro's website to complete and uninstall, to no avail. It cannot be found. There is no listing of Trend Micro on my computer, whatsoever, and after installing their uninstall tool, and completing all instructions, restarting, etc.,
    Windows 10 cannot complete the upgrade.

    Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I'm stumped.
