Windows 10: Forgotten password to open my computer

I bought a new computer yesterday. Today, I turned it on and can't for the life of me, remember the password. I have tried every password I would or could have used...nothing. I used an old email address hotmail.comfrom yrs ago for the account, that I rarely, if ever use.. Went thru Microsoft and I had to answer a bunch of questions, like recent emails I sent, to which I have no clue. They want to send me a link to my phone....but I don't have that number anymore, and unfortunately. I can't get into it to change the number to my new one, because I had already filled out a request to glreset my password. Which could take 30 days. Is there another way to do this??
