Windows 10: Forza Horizon 4 - Blocked Feature Fix, Finally

Hi everyone,


The only reason I'm making a new post for this is because the other one I saw was a year old and there was no solution posted. In Forza Horizon 4, when I try to, for example, view other players' liveries, I get the message "This feature is blocked per your Xbox Live parental control settings." I don't have a parent account because I'm not a child, and no one else has access to my account, nor do I play with anyone else.


I play on a Windows 10 Home Edition HP Gaming Laptop, and I don't own an Xbox, so I know I never altered any privacy/security or family account settings.

Update: Never mind, thanks be to God was able to find a simple workaround:

Basically, after creating a family account with a different Microsoft account I'll refer to this as account A, add the problem account the one you're trying to play with, account B to the family as a Member, not an Organizer. Sign into account B so you can accept the Microsoft Family invite, then sign back into account A. From there, go to the Microsoft Family homepage, while signed into account A. Under the options for account B again, the one you want to play with, click More Options, then click Xbox Online Settings. If you're prompted to sign it, do that of course, then click account B and you should see the words: " Insert whatever your username is here can:"


Scroll through and change all of the options to Everyone.

Forza Horizon 4 will not unistall

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I'd suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Click on Start menu, and look for Forza Horizon 4. Right click on it and select
Uninstall.

You can also uninstall the game through settings by following the below steps.

1. Press Windows key + I together to open Settings.

2. Click on Apps > Apps & features.

3. Click on Forza Horizon 4.

4. Select Uninstall.

Let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's fixed.
