Windows 10: Forza Horizon 4 wont launch

Hi


Forza Horizon 4 wont launch. It was working fine, until I downloaded the Ultimate add ons DLC, in which i was able to play for that session, but when I opened it the next time, it would crash a few seconds after opening. I'm aware this is quite a common issue, and I've tried all the solutions I can think of.

I've updated the drivers, updated windows 10. I've tried reinstalling it on a different drive, I've reinstalled it without the DLC. I've terminated and reset in the app settings. I don't have msi afterburner, or any other software that has been known to interfere with the game, that I'm aware of. I'm not sure what else to try.

Forza horizon 3 wont launch!

Hey,

I bought forza horizon 3 yesterday, and finally its done downloading.

But it wont launch for some reason. I shows a forza windowed picture, it did that too with sea of thieves, but sea of thieves launched after that, except for forza horizon, wich didnt launch. I did not get any crash reports or something, so u guys could
help me!

Have you tried lowering your screen resolution to see if the game launches?

How much free space do you have on the drive?

Could you confirm if this also happens in the default Administrator account?

Open Start

Type: cmd

Right click CMD

Click Run as administrator

At the command prompt, type:

net user administrator/active:yes

Hit Enter

Close command prompt, restart, then try signing into the Administrator account.

Do you have the latest cumulative updates for Windows 10 1803 installed?

Open Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features

Scroll down to Forza Horizon 4

Select it

Click Advanced options

Click Reset

Restart

Check the Store for updates

If that does not work...

download the following utility and use it to remove Forza Horizon 4, extract it, launch it, scroll through the list, select Forza 4 then click Remove.
