    found alternative solution to missing battery Icon for a solution not listed on this site


    I had no battery icon on my HP folio 9480 running windows 11 tried uninstalling drivers and enabling all in device manager as suggested on this site but nothing worked however I found a solution on my laps tops site forum and thought you guys might find it useful for thoses still stuck in limbo.remove your battery and unplug power cable then hold power button down for a full 1 minute. reconnect your battery and power cable then boot up and icon should now be back well it was for me even after a reboot its still present.
