Windows 10: Free Play Days: theHunter Call of the Wild with Xbox Live Gold

Do you hear that? It’s the sound of the wild, calling out to you to step into a majestic world full of wildlife and big-game hunting opportunities. Through this weekend, Xbox Live Gold members can heed the call and play theHunter: Call of the Wild. Immerse yourself in an incredible hunting experience in single-player, competitive, and co-op modes.

The Free Play Days event begins Thursday, June 27 at 12:01 a.m. PDT and runs through to Sunday, June 30 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. You can find and install the game here. To download on console, click on the Gold member area on the home dashboard on your Xbox One.

The game is also available for purchase at a discount so you can continue playing while keeping your Gamerscore and achievements earned in-game during the event.

During this free weekend event, you will step into the most atmospheric hunting experiences ever developed in theHunter: Call of the Wild. Immerse yourself in this beautiful open world filled to the brim with life, from the regal deer and powerful black bears, to the graceful mallards and silent jackrabbits.

Explore the flourishing Hirschfelden Hunting Reserve and Layton Lake District, each spanning across an impressive 25 square miles (64 square kilometers) of varied terrain, ranging from dense forests and wetlands to lush valleys and open farm fields.

It’s up to you to decide: pursue the narrative or simply go exploring and hunting, and you can do either on your own or have up to eight friends or strangers join you via Xbox Live. Who will bag the biggest trophy? Answer the call and find out!

Grab a friend and play Gears of War 4 and The Crew 2 Standard Edition for free during the Xbox Live Gold’s Free Play Days event. Experience adrenaline-filled action as you take on the Swarm or the American motorsports scene. The Free Play Days event begins Thursday, April 25 at 12:01 a.m. PT and runs through to Sunday, April 28 at 11:59 p.m. PT. You can find and install the games here. xbox gold and live

I have a GOLD subscription and my son is listed as a family member. Yet when he is on the xbox he is not a gold customer and does;t seem to have access to xbox live. any suggestions?

Play Overwatch Free August 23-27 with Xbox Live Gold

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to join the fight for the future as an agent of Overwatch, now’s your chance! From August 23–27, we’re calling on all prospective soldiers, scientists, adventurers, and oddities: assemble your teams and dive in during the Overwatch free weekend event!If you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription, you’ll be able to play with the full Overwatch roster of 28 heroes––including the newly released Wrecking Ball––across 18 maps set around the globe. You’ll have full access to Quick Play, Custom Games, and a variety of unique play options in the Arcade.

Player progression is unlocked as well, so you’ll be able to level up and earn limited-time Summer Games Loot Boxes. Plus, if you decide to purchase Overwatch, either this weekend or at a later date, you’ll keep any progress you made and achievements earned during the free weekend event––just be sure to use the same Xbox Live account that you played on.

The free period will begin at 11:00 a.m. PDT on Thursday, August 23 and will end at 11:59 p.m. PDT on Monday, August 27 in all supported regions. Instructions on how to participate are below.

Step 1: Turn on your Xbox One and log in to your Xbox Live Gold account

Step 2: Go to the Microsoft Store, then select Search

Step 3: In the search field, type in Overwatch

Step 4: Select Overwatch: Legendary Edition from the search results and then click Free Trial

Step 5: Once the download and installation processes are complete, click Launch to begin!
