    just tried again. it literally freezes within seconds witin starting the prime95 test

    For now, forget Prime95 and run the other tests.
    Ruling out the rest specifies the cause more.

    Freezing when playing games

    ok so ran furmark. after 20 or so mins the window seemed to disappear. Ran again and after about 15 mins the screen froze. Temp reading on frozen screen was 70 deg C. BSODs on reboot

    trying to run memtest. followed the instructions but when I try to boot with the usb I get the message
    "Missing operating system.

    Reboot and Select proper Boot device
    or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key_"

    Please open CPU-Z, make screenshots of the following tabs
    • Mainboard,
    • Memory,
    • SPD,
    • Graphics
    and post the screenshots.

    Please check Qualcomm or Atheros for driver updates for the Qualcomm Atheros wifi driver

    downloaded memtest from memtest86.com and ran over night. pass complete no errors found

    Hi, I will try running memtest86+ again but I had issues before in that it wouldn't boot with the usb stick.

    10.0.0.318 is the latest wifi card driver (May 2015)

    I still cannot get the memtest86+ to boot with a usb stick using the download on their page so I'm stuck for options really. I've tried downloading the .iso and using a program to create a bootable usb as well and that doesn't work

    hi i had the same problem the cause is the latest nvidia driver(358.50) i rolled back to the previous driver and i haven't crashed since*Smile

    just read that u tried rolling back nvm then.....
