Windows 10: Frequent BSOD: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION when I play Valorant Windows 11 , Acer Nitro V 15

I’ve been encountering recurring BSODs with the error DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION on my Acer Nitro V 15 laptop. Intel Chipset Driver Update Issue on Acer Nitro V 15 ANV15-51

Hi everyone,

I recently tried to update the Intel Chipset Driver on my Acer Nitro V 15 ANV15-51 laptop to version 10.1.36.7. However, I encountered an issue during the installation process. The driver failed to update, and I’m not sure why.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, how did you resolve it? Any insights or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated!

No camera driver found on my Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro

Hi

I've had this laptop for a few years and the in-built camera worked perfectly fine until the latest Windows update. Now it won't work at all. I've googled this and checked under "Imaging devices" in my Device Manager and the camera is not showing at all.
I'm not very technically savvy and I'm not sure what else to do. I don't use the camera much but it would be handy, especially for logging in. I have an Acer Aspire V 15 Nitro (black edition). Any ideas?

Intel Chipset Driver Update Issue on Acer Nitro V 15 ANV15-51

Hey there,

I'm facing a similar issue with my Acer Nitro V 15 (ANV15-51). It's showing an update for the Intel Chipset from v10.0.22621.3672 to v10.1.36.7. I initially tried updating it via NitroSense, but that failed. So, I downloaded the update manually from Acer's official website (https://www.acer.com/in-en/support/product-support/ANV15-51/downloads?suggest=ANV15;2) and followed all the steps correctly.

The installation said "complete," but when I checked the driver in Device Manager, it's still showing the old version (v10.0.22621.3672). My Windows 11 is fully up-to-date, and there are no additional updates available. I even ran the Intel Driver & Support Assistant, and it shows no chipset updates either.

I've attached screenshots of each step to help explain the situation better.

While I could ignore this update, my laptop occasionally crashes and shuts down randomly, even when I'm just on YouTube (not only while gaming). I’ve checked for overheating issues, but all vents are clear, so I'm wondering if the crashing is related to the chipset update.

If you have any idea how I can solve this, please let me know!
