Windows 10: Frequent BSOD THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER

More details in the zip, but here's the summary of the situation. I bought this Asus TUF FX505DT gaming laptop about 2 weeks ago and ever since then I experienced frequent BSOD mainly THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER. My previous laptop intel + nvidia pair never had BSOD like this. The first thing I did after purchasing it was updating every driver to the latest version, including the AMD chipset and graphics one.

Browsing in AMD subreddit, I also notice numerous users with every kind of rig face issues by problematic drivers. So I assume it's a common problem with AMD brand. Can you help me pinpoint which part cause conflict or is buggy? Kinda worry if the problem is the hardware or just the driver. So I can at least be sure what causes the problem. Thanks a lot!

Frequent BSOD "THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER"

Before anything else, I'd like to inform everyone that this is a redo of an original post I made which was closed due to incomplete details. Now I have included what others have asked me to do in the original. (Original: https://superuser.com/questions/990227/sudden-bsod-at-random-times?)

So I was browsing the internet using Google Chrome and came to a school's website. All of a sudden, a BSOD appeared with the message:

I ran a full malware scan using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and it had found 2 Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs):



I downloaded BlueScreenView and went to the latest Blue Screen of Death's dump and this is what I found:



It says that it was caused by driver vdrvroot.sys.

If anyone needs my PC's information, I gathered them using Piriform Speccy:

This isn't the only time the BSOD with the same message happened. It often happens when my PC is out of my sight, when I connect to the internet, while browsing the internet, and using some programs.

I've updated to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1 last August. Could this be a problem caused by Windows 10's automatic updates?

If anyone knows a solution to this, I'd highly appreciate it. If you guys need more details, please tell me what's missing and I'll add it.

The THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER bug indicates that a thread in a device driver is endlessly spinning. A device driver is spinning in an infinite loop, most likely waiting for hardware to become idle. This usually indicates problem with the hardware itself,
or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly. Frequently, this is the result of a bad video card or a bad display driver.

I suggest you to follow the below steps.

Update the display driver

Steps to update the drivers for the Display Adapter.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right click on the
  Display Adapter and click on Update Driver Software.
