Frequent system errors after Windows 10 May update

I was forced to do a clean install after a failed Windows System 10 May update. Now the system is very unstable forcing me to reinstall Windows 10 at least 1x week.

I have run Seagate and Dell Apps to make sure that there is no hard disk or memory errors. Dells BIOs and Intel Inteli State Drivers hv been updated. No apparent error in device drivers list.

Every 3 or 4 days Windows is stuck after coming back from suspended or system restart. Commonly the error for not being able to restore PC, recover from image, etc is "unable to find MUI file error 0x80073AFC".

What else can be done to stabilize the system? I am now trying to disable Windows Defender by reinstalling McAfee.

This Windows update is causing too many errors.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
