    Fresh Install BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL - Possibly Realtek LAN?


    So I just did another fresh install of Windows 10 Pro version 1909. I haven't even activated it yet and I haven't manually installed any drivers. I got the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD almost instantly when I had Firefox open.

    When I was installing Windows, I went away and my PC had rebooted back to the start of the installer. I assume it had a BSOD here too. The second time I unplugged my LAN cable and it installed fine.

    I decided to reinstall because I have tried pretty much everything. I had updated all my chipset drivers, graphics, LAN and audio from the manufacturer, AsRock and AMD, but nothing has solved this error which seems to happen once every week or more. My BIOS is even the latest version.

    Any help would be fantastic and appreciated. *Smile

    I downloaded a driver for the realtek LAN and it was a zip file, I opened and found an .exe install file.

    Otherwise I can give steps to install the driver via device manager.

    Most of my suggestions have already been listed.

    However, I found Swat4 to actually be a pretty fun LAN game, especially at smaller LAN parties.
