    I recently reinstalled Windows 10, and am unable to update it. It errors with the code 0x80240fff every time. I've tried running the Update Troubleshooter multiple times, and it always reports "Problems found" and states that "Windows Update components must be repiared", and marks it as "Fixed" with a green check mark. Apparently that isn't the case, since Update still won't work, and re-running Troubleshooter reports the same thing again.


    Windows 10 Home Version 1511 (OS Build 10586.0)

    Intel Core i5-9600K CPU @3.70GHz

    Asus Prime Z390-P Motherboard

    Geforce GTX 1070 GPU

    Since 26 may 2016 many people have this code error 0x80240fff when they recheach updates.

    It happens to new computers with fresh Windows 10 version Build 10240.

    Some have a Fix with "defer upgrade" option, but she's not in Home version.
