    Frustrated with Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse Model 1560 works On and Off


    Dear Microsoft.


    Been through the Q&A concerning the Sculpt Mouse... have followed the instructions (updated drivers, change USB ports, restart laptop, Try in another computer, check bluetooth etc etc) given there and still its not working as intended. It works for a few minutes (if lucky) and then it shows an error indicating USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it.


    Its frustrating and quite annoying at this time. For real I am about to toss this Mouse out.. great its ergonomic if it worked.. sadly I just have a month with it.


    Please provide clear instructions on how to fix it (as it seems it is a regular error = its the product the one failing) and/or indicate how can I get a refund.

    Highly recommend you take a deeper look into this product.

    Support for Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse?

    Why does the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center software fail to detect my Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse? I have tried different USB ports, but no joy.

    Thanks for any advice.

    Frustrated with Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse Model 1560 works On and Off

    Mouse & Keyboard Center 3.2.116 breaks Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic mouse

    After installing Mouse & Keyboard Center 3.2.116 the buttons on my Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic mouse no longer work, and the trackpad clicks on my SP5 keyboard also no longer work.

    Only fix is to unplug Sculpt mouse and restart SP5, then the trackpad works normally. Plugging the Sculpt back in repeats the issue.

    Uninstalled Mouse & Keyboard Center 3.2.116, but Sculpt is still not working. Cannot reinstall Mouse & Keyboard Center 3.2.116 as I now get Error 1603.
