    FS2020 Sim errors out loading the disks , Get Cyclic Redundancy Check Data error messages


    Hi just took delivery of new fs2020 . First install attemptand it got to disk 9 . Then issued a a Default Component
    File D:\data 8.cab

    Error Data errorCyclicRedunancy Check


    If I click ok. Then the whole thing is aborted and it come out of the install process . Its happened 2 times

    firsttime it get to disk 8 but this time ondisk 7 . Towards the end of it .
    can you help ? Please

    I'm trying to download a game and in the middle of it it keeps saying "Error: data error (cyclic redundancy check) help please!

    System Backup fail. message shows Data error (cyclic redundancy check) Error Code: 0x80070017

    pls help: CYCLIC REDUNDANCY CHECK ERROR

    Use something like CrystalDiskInfo to check SMART on the drive, however if this is an older IDE drive, SMART might not be supported. Cyclic redundancy errors are almost always uncorrectable disk errors. I suspect that the drive is failing juding from the symptoms you described.
