Windows 10: FSX Steam Edition API.DLL Crash

I reinstalled FSX Steam Edition lately, but I have been getting CTDs. Upon checking event viewer, it states that the faulting module is API.DLL with exception code 0xc0000005. I have never experienced this before until I reinstalled FSX yesterday. Is there any way to fix this issue?

FSX Steam Edition keeps crashing on 16x speed

This only happens on 16x speed for some reason. How would I fix this? Also, i cant click the link to the files.

Fsx-Steam Edition- Error Message.

I have done exactly what you have told me to do. Actuall I deleted all the folder/documents/

Fsx fligthsim-steam. I also deleted the .cfg file as you suggested. I also deleted the log file.

When you enter into the game it does these automatically.

But the problem keeps on recurring.

Now I have uninstalled FSx-Steam edition, through Steam and am installing it again.

But I am not sure this would help, as I have already tried this method about twice.
