Windows 10: Full factory reset on my HP laptop

How do I factory reset My HP laptop? It wont install the new updates. I need to wipe it clean. Then let Windows update. It tells me unable to update not enough storage well I dumped everything that I could still wont update. I had a Accer several years ago. but it had the factory reset in it settings. My HP is set up different. I cant up grade to windows 11 until I do a factory reset

Resetting my HP laptop

Since it is a new HP laptop and you want to reset it, instead of using the Windows 10 Reset, why not use the HP Factory Restore application, it should be located on your Start Menu - the alphabetical list - scroll down to the HP suite of apps and look
for recovery . . .

As you have a laptop, ensure that the laptop is not running on battery and the power cable is plugged in to the socket.

HP laptop reset

Thanks all,HP recovery manager was installed until I reset win 10 due to issues I was having,not sure that any of the options in Recovery would put the laptop back to factory settings with Win 7, if I could be 100% sure I would probably go ahead as I have a Desktop and another HP laptop,HP Recovery manager has an option to restore the system to factory state but Win 10 Recovery doesn't seem to have that option, maybe best to leave well alone as I don't want to mess the laptop up completely.Thanks again
