    Fullscreen windows "leak through" over the taskbar when out of focus


    Whenever I have a window in fullscreen, typically while playing a game, and I switch focus to another window, the fullscreen window appears to "leak through" the bottom of the screen see image. This is a new behavior within the last few months, and I cannot find a way to disable it.

    How do you make the taskbar show on top of a fullscreen program when it loses focus

    I have searched for days now on how you are supposed to make the taskbar render on top of a fullscreen application when it loses focus and I have found absolutely nothing.

    Example on how i used to do it:

    My main monitor would be running a borderless windowed program and if I need to access the taskbar I'd just need to click somewhere on my secondary monitor so that the fullscreen program lose focus and the taskbar shows up.

    This is not the case currently on my W10 install as it seems the only way to bring up the taskbar is to press the windows key on my keyboard.....

    Windows 10 brings taskbar on top of fullscreen-windows

    I was playing a game on my laptop and suddenly the taskbar is visible in a fullscreen game. It did not stop there, after the game i opened Netflix. When i tried to fullscreen the video again the taskbar appeared. Please suggest a fix. Thank You.

    I'm sorry to know that when you are playing full screen games, the taskbar is not hiding automatically as it should be.

    That happened to me before and was able to fix it using the steps in this link:
