    Hey I have an fx 6300 and I was wondering if there are any drivers that I could download from the amd website for my cpu.

    I tried the safe mode and its the same thing. I also tried to do a clean install of graphics driver. My PC build is:

    CyberPowerPC

    AMD FX 6300 3.50 GHz CPU

    MSI GeForce GTX 760 OC 2GB

    16 GB RAM

    Corsair Liquid Cooling

    MSI 760 GM- P23 FX Mother Board

    2 TB HDD

    Windows 10 hangs on clean install

    If your computer supports onboard graphics, switch to that and remove the discrete video card (FX 6300).

    Windows itself should take care of the drivers for your CPU. If not, look at your motherboard manufacturer's website and download and install the chipset drivers for your motherboard.

    Unless you see a yellow triangle beside your CPU in Device Manager, your CPU should have the right diver. If you're worried about it, right click the CPU and choose "Update driver". That should take care of the issue, but I doubt it will be necessary.

    Just make sure you have right/updated chipset drivers as they can affect CPU performance.

    Go to your MB manufacturer's site and download latest drivers.

    i will try that out but please I would like to ask something else too.There is this program that's called driver booster.Whenever I scan my computer it always says that I have extremely old smbus and IOMMU drivers.I don't use the program since its unreliable but I was wandering where I can find the newest smbus and IOMMU drivers

    See post #10. although if there's no caution mark in Device manager I would leave it alone.
