    Hi guys, new to the forum, hope you can help me out.
    I have a i7 6700K, 16 Gig memory, GTX 1080 with a Gigabyte GA-Z170X_Gaming 3 motherboard and a intel SSD 6, it had win 10 on until I attempted to reinstall, now when I try to install win 10 I get the "The selected disk is of the GPT partition style" error during system installation.
    First time I tried to reinstall, the BIOS was as configured when I first got the system a couple of years ago, in my attempts to install I have most likely stuffed up the BIOS UEFI settings. So if anyone can tell me the proper BIOS set up for my particular motherboard and how to deal with the GPT errror, I'd be most grateful.

    Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style.

    This happens when the BIOS uses the legacy mode whereas the disk uses the GPT partition scheme.

    I want to install win 10 to my ASUS Laptop but when i selected disk or partition, windows cannot be installed to this disk. the selected disk is of the GPT partition style. How to install Win 10 in my Laptop, please and thank you ?
