When?? Well, this is just not silly at this point that MS doesn't know when the next drop will take place by now. I for one would like to hear some official news about the next drop and when it's going to take place or I might just drop out of testing and go back to using Win8.1 as my primary OS and wait for the RTM to upgrade.

    :)

Photo's keep closing whenever I try to edit them

Windows Essentials 2012 contains the following programs:

Photo Gallery (Windows Photo Gallery 2012 Build 16.4.3528.331)

Movie Maker (Version 2012 Build 16.4.3528.0331)

    Windows Live Writer

Windows Live Mail (Version 2012 Build 16.4.3564.1216)

    OneDrive

Are you using Photo Gallery of Windows Essentials or Photos App of Windows 10 operating system?

Silly, why?? If MS doesn't speed up the build drops it's almost useless to test for me at least.

  9. That doesn't stop you from testing that build and giving feedback.

I've already given up on the last build and its getting pretty disappointing waiting for the next one to drop.

Maybe they trying to fix it from bricking hard drives, maybe that what taking them so long. Nobody would upgrade to windows 10 if it bricked their hard drives. Even through you are using windows 10 preview at you own risk, in the U.S. Microsoft could be technically liable in small claims court for brinking hard drives, regardless of what the contract says. Of course, I am not a lawyer and I could be wrong.

Well, checking out a preview is a form of testing.. isn't it?? I try things out in Win10TP.. report bugs and comments/suggestions.. that's testing to me at least.

  14. Frankly if it looks like that as a Windows 7 Power user they can keep it. It is sucking more and more with every "release". Seriously Microsoft will have a hard time convincing users of Windows 7 from staying put on Windows 7. I have said it before but one OS for all devices is never going to work properly. It is compromise all around. They are selling Windows 10 with a talking gizmo and a start menu that is actually terrible compared to Classic Shell.

Like others have said (WHS has tutorials) Linux mint looks better and I can see myself and Tammy keeping Windows 7 till it dies then using 10 from a Windows 8.1 upgrade or simply using Linux Mint and disconnecting Windows from the internet.

I forget which tech website it was, but I read yesterday that the current build Microsoft is testing is 10039. Apparently the 10036 one had a bug in it.
