Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Blocking gaming/gambling sites

I have Windows 10 and would like to block the casino/gaming/gambling sites from my computer. I tried to get help from the virtual agent, it keeps sending me to the site to control a child's use of computer. I know on my old, old pc, I could maximize settings
so some sites would be blocked.

Another issue I have had for about 3 years is Windows Installer - can't install anything - get a window saying not verified-?????. Thought this would be remedied when my son got me a new laptop with Windows 10, but still can't install.

Any help would be appreciated. My computer-eze is getting antiquated!!!!

 

Are video games encouraging children to gamble?

It is gambling but what makes this unique is that it is a form of digital gambling that skirts the typical rules of online gambling and reaches a very impressionable audience. I don't think it is going to create a million little zombie gamblers who grow up blowing their wads at the casino though. I think the bigger issue here is that casinos DO NOT LIKE competition. Look at those fantasy football leagues and how they were shutdown until they greased the proper palms.
