Windows 10: Game Code Already Redeemed

Hello. Back in September I purchased a Geforce RTX 2080 TI the EVGA FTW3 Ultra from Amazon.com. It was the most money I had ever spent on a PC component and I was very excited. I was also excited to play the 2 free games that the video card came with. These games were Control and Wolfenstein: Youngblood. However, after receiving the code for these free games, when attempting to redeem the code on Geforce Experience I was told that the code had already been redeemed in August before I even purchased the graphics card.


First, I contacted Nvidia support about this. They confirmed that it had been redeemed by someone else before I made my purchase but said that they couldn't provide me with a new code. Only the retailer that I bought the video card from could provide me with a new code. So next, I contacted Amazon support... 4 different times in 2 months. Their support is so terrible that I considered returning the product, cancelling my prime account and buying a graphics card from somewhere else. They barely spoke English and didn't help me get any closer to solving this problem. Finally, after 4 attempts I was elevated and received an email telling me that only you guys Microsoft can provide new codes, so here I am.


I have screenshots of all of my support conversations from both Nvidia and Amazon. I also have a link to the invoice for my order if needed.


I realize that calling the support line would probably be a better way to solve this problem. I am very shy and anxious about phone calls so I am posting here first, just in case someone here can help me. I have been very busy lately and I would really just like to receive my 2 games so I can play them in the near future when I get some free time. Part of the reason I purchased this product was because it came with these two games and it really sucks that these codes are being stolen from the customers.


I really hope someone can help me out. If I need to call the support line instead, just let me know and I will do that.

Redeem a game

I'm from Romania, Europe, don't know if my language will be available but i don't want it in my language, i want it in english.

I've done both Online and Windows 10 steps from the link, but still the same error:

Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page.

• Italiano (Italia)
• 日本語 (日本)
• 한국어(대한민국)
• Polski (Polska)
• Português (Brasil)

If your language is not listed, that means that the game is not yet available in your country.

Can't find the games I redeemed via codes

Hi,

To download the games that were purchased or redeemed using a prepaid code on Windows 10, kindly perform the following steps:

• Using your Microsoft account, sign in to the PC where you want to install your games.
• On the Start screen, select the Store icon.
• In the Store, select Games from the menu.
• Browse and select the game that you purchased or redeemed using a prepaid code.
  
• Select Install.
  

Make sure that you are logged in with the Microsoft Account that you used to redeem the game's prepaid code.
