Windows 10: Game in Microsoft Store is ruined

Hello!


I've been having an issue with a game (Metro:Exodus) that I got with the Game Pass. After a few days of playing, the game wouldn't launch from the Xbox app anymore. In the store page, it looked like it wasnt installed at all ("Install" prompt was showing. Once clicked, it gave me an error "0x8000ffff"). After trying to reset both the store and the game multiple times, I decided to reinstall it. I removed the game via the "Add or Remove" window, but the store still behaves the same. After making my way into the Program Files\WindowsApps\ folder, I do see the game's folder there, but It doesn't show up in the uninstall menu anymore.


Can anybody help me with this?

• Press Windows key + X on your keyboard.   
• Click on Command prompt (Admin).
