Windows 10: Game pass games are "invisible", error code 0x80073cfa, 0x80073d0b, and 0x80073cf9

I have been googling and trying different solutions for days now.

The setup is simple, after the 2020-11 cumulative update, I noticed only my 5 most recently downloaded game pass games were showing in the sidebar for the Xbox app. All downloaded within minutes of each other. All the games before that time, probably around 15 games, were no longer listed. I did some looking around and noticed they are still taking up space, and they are still showing in the apps list. Now here come the problems.

1) I can't get them back in the app to play any of them.

2) I can't move them or I get error 0x80073d0b

3) I can't uninstall them or I get error 0x80073cfa

4) I can't even redownload the game or any game for that matter or I get code 0x80073cf9

So what do I do to fix any or all of this?

I will add that my OS is on drive C: and all my other stuff is on drive D:...



THINGS I HAVE TRIED

I started by doing something that worked the first time I had an install error, which was removing the subkeys in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Appx\PackageVolumes using RegEdit. Worked the first time, this time it does nothing to help.

I even tried removing the packages using powershell. That gave an error and would not work.

I made sure everything was updated. Tried resetting and repairing every app I could. Still nothing.\

Error code : (0x80073CFA) and (0x80073CF9)

After the start up my pc is hanging a lot and after opening the store I see that the existing apps are trying to update but can't, error code (0x80073CF9). I tried to uninstall them but can't, error code (0x80073CFA). I wanted to reset by removing everything
I have but it fails to make any change. I wanted to go back to windows 7 but it says that the back up has been deleted. I can't connect to the contact support either. Please help.

 

Unable to Download Game from Microsoft Store Using Xbox Game Pass Error Code: 0x80073CF9

Hi all,

I am currently on a BootCamp Windows 10 1909 and I'm having issues where I cannot download No Man's Sky from the Microsoft Store using Xbox Game Pass.

However, it appears that it is only when downloading No Man's Sky that I receive the error message. I'm able to download FH4, Gears 5, Subnautica etc. with no issues at all using my Xbox Game Pass.

The error code: 0x80073CF9 only appears every time I attempt to download No Man's Sky from both the Xbox App and the Microsoft Store.
