    Gamepass game randomly stopped working and can't be re-installed


    I play Gears 5 on Xbox and PC all the time using Game Pass, which is a really great service. The part that really sucks is the Windows Store. After playing Gears 5 many times on PC it randomly stopped working. It gave me a prompt saying that it was no longer installed. OK, normal Windows Store BS I thought. But now I cannot re-install it.


    Trying to install through the Xbox Beta app will hang on "preparing" for literally days or but instantly adds the Play button to the game. If I try pressing play then it locks up the app. If I try using the Windows Store then it gives me the option to install but nothing happens when I click it. Even stranger, if I try installing the base game not the Ultimate version I had installed before then it gets added to the Update queue but never installs.


    Is there anything I can do to fix this? I've tried just about every solution I've found online short of reformatting my hard drive.

    Gamepass games on PC not working

    I have a valid gamepass ultimate subscription and recently tried to play gamepass games on PC. I downloaded the app and installed Crosscode and The Messenger. When I try to launch the games through the Xbox PC app, the app minimizes and nothing happens.
    When I try to launch the games through the start menu, it just directs me to the Windows Store to download the Xbox App, which shows that I've already downloaded it. Games I have previously downloaded from before the Xbox App came out, such as Forza Horizon
    4, seem to work ok. What can I do to get the newer games working?

    Logitech G930 randomly stops working?

    Hi *Smile Gamepass game randomly stopped working and can't be re-installed :)

    I've had G930 for over a year and it's been working quite well, but recently, it just randomly stops working! (it stops for 3-4 seconds and then start works again)
    I tried removing the driver and installing it again and still the same problem
    anyone who can help? *Frown Gamepass game randomly stopped working and can't be re-installed :(

    I went through the process you specified but I still can't run certain games through the Gamepass app. Any other remedies?
