  2. radar pre leak issue

    Hello CBK SLAYER,

Good to see you in Microsoft Community.

Firstly, could you let me know the specific system version (OS Build)? You can check it by pressing Win + X > System > Windows specifications, click “Copy” and paste it in your next reply.

Did this occur recently, or has it been going on for a while? If it was recent, did you have any special actions (such as installing system updates, hardware changes, etc.) before that?

RADAR is Microsoft's Memory Leak Detector, and this error indicates that an application or program is not effectively managing its memory. You can verify this by examining Task Manager or utilizing Process Explorer from SysInternals. It is worth noting that this issue often occurs in gaming scenarios, but the error itself is informative, and a report has been sent to Microsoft. Therefore, there is typically no need for you to take any action.

You can follow the steps below:

    1. Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics card drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause compatibility issues with games like Cyberpunk 2077.
    2. Game Updates: Make sure you have the latest updates and patches for Cyberpunk 2077 installed. Game developers often release updates to address bugs and improve performance.
    3. Verify Game Files: If you're using a platform like Steam or GOG, you can verify the integrity of the game files to ensure none are corrupted.
    4. I noticed that the adnormal files in temp folder, you may clean the temp files:
      1. To delete temporary files:
        1. In the search box on the taskbar, type disk cleanup, and select Disk Cleanup from the list of results.
        2. Select the drive you want to clean up, and then select OK.
        3. Under Files to delete, select the file types to get rid of. To get a description of the file type, select it.
        4. Select OK.
      2. If you need to free up more space, you can also delete system files:
        1. In Disk Cleanup, select Clean up system files.
        2. Select the file types to get rid of. To get a description of the file type, select it.
        3. Select OK.
Visit Disk cleanup in Windows - Microsoft Support for more details.
If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards,

    | Microsoft Community Support Specialist

  3. Pre-loaded games won't uninstall

I'm not really into some of the games that were pre-loaded into my PC but when I try to bring up the games from the Start menu and click on 'uninstall' it takes me to the control panel, and I don't see the games listed there for me to uninstall. Suggestions, please? Thanks! ~P

Games Crash to Desktop - Radar Pre Leak 64 - Been Trying to Fix For 4 Days

    Game Crashing, Exception Access Violation

Hello, I've been dealing with an Issue I can't seem to fix, nor can the game developers fix as well apparently.

    The Game is Borderlands 3

I run into a (Exception Access Violation) Error
The game developer identified the error as: RADAR_PRE_LEAK logs. "Radar" is a memory-leak detection technology from Microsoft. The "pre-leak" warning indicates that a process is handling its allocated memory in a way that poses a risk of creating a memory leak.

He states only a Microsoft Technician can fix the issue. that or a full system wipe which I really don't want to do since I run my business on my system and I don't want to lose all my information.

Were do I get this help? I can't seem to find a way to get help other then posting here and waiting.
