Windows 10: Games for Windows Live Key

Hello,


I still have a DVD for Fallout 3. I have the key for live access. But alas the CD needs resurfacing and there are no places near me that offer that service currently. Is there anyway I can use the key to redeem the game on a current platform. Probably not. I tried the games for windows client that I was able to download but found that there is no redeem key option. My next guess is to sail the high seas and see if I can nab a cracked version or the installer because I have the game. But I can't get it to install through my CD player.

I would not like to have to literally repurchase the game I already have sitting on my desk in front of me. Or I can try calling a few places tomorrow that I think might offer resurfacing.

Anyone know of any work arounds?

  Did you download the ISO of the Game from the Steam?
  

It is not Windows Live Key, it’s a game product key which is required to install the game.

I suggest you to check with Steam for Product key and check if it helps.
