Windows 10: Games not working after windows update 06.06.2020

Hello everyone,


Recently purchased GOG version of Disciples 2 game.

Although an old game in terms of today's market, it worked perfectly until yesterday's windows 10 update. Today it won't start no matter how many tweaks i apply in the compatibility tab of the game's exe properties.


Any idea how should i address this issue? from what i've seen on the web, this is not very unique in its matter

I'm more interested to know if the last update has caused any issues to other users, or am i an isolated case?

Microsoft Games won't open since update 2015-12-06

I have three games (Solitaire Collection, Mahjong & Jigsaw) that won't open since the Windows 10 update of Dec 06 2015.

I got an 'opening' countdown 1-9 with the twirling circle but an hour later it was still on 1.

I tried the reset suggested in previous Windows 8-10 postings of this issue - with no result other than now it just shows the blue page with the name on it.

Please tell me that there's a simple fix.

Recenly updated all drivers for my laptop but now it gives a bsod saying driver unloaded without canceling pending operations issue is with netwtw.06.sys cant access safe mode or access any system restore points. Tried everything except to reinstall the
OS. Any suggestions?
