    This has got to be the weirdest issue I have ever seen on Windows 10.


    I have now seen this on about 5 games.


    Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, Ark, Division and Fallout 4.


    I haven't tried any other games as yet, but my suspicion is this affects every game I own.


    So the issue is this, noticed this more since I got my 4K monitor, but the FPS, would drop down to 20-30 and back to 60 a lot. Now the kicker is that if I begin recording my game with GameDVR, the frame rate is a solid 60fps.


    That's right, GameDVR recording these games, stabilizers the FPS at 60fps.


    I managed to record this happening with nVidia's shadow play as I thought it might have just been Crackdown 3 and I posted the video for them to look at and they can't explain why this is the case, since then I have now seen it on 4 other games.


    Now I have a CPU and GPU monitor going on, displayed on a 2nd screen and there CPU is not maxing out, it is hovering around the 30% mark and the GPU is healthy as well. So the thing is what is causing this and why does it stop when I record these games with GameDVR?

    My games run with horrible fps after upgrading to Windows 10

    I own a gaming computer that has never ran into fps problems in the past due to its hardware. Yesterday all of my games played perfectly fine without any form of fps problems. When I updated to windows 10 today I was very excited and after configuring
    all my settings I went to play one of my games to find that they now run at a fps so low that I cannot even play my games now! None of my steam games work now. Any suggestions on a fix?
