Windows 10: Games suddenly unplayable

I built my pc maybe 2 months ago, any game I ran would play smooth as butter, no lag spikes or fps drops. Suddenly about 1 month later my game experiences the worst lag spikes ex: 70-4000 ping and this occurs almost every minute making it where I can no longer play my favorite games. Games folder suddenly empty Windows 10

Using Windows 10. This morning the games folder was suddenly empty. I found instructions that were for Windows 7 on how to turn on games, and tried to use the same method, but when I went to "turn windows features on and off" in the Windows 10 control
panel, 'games' isn't on the list. Any suggestions?

 

BF4 extreme rubber banding, suddenly unplayable

I've had a few of the usual issues with BF4, but it's suddenly become unplayable.

The night before last, I was playing a few rounds, no issues, then suddenly when I spawned on a new round, I found I could not move from the spawn point. At the most I could run 100m, but then would be sprung back to the start. In vehicles, they would come crashing back to the start in a cloud of dust. When changing weapon, it would keep changing back to the original or when moving a tank turret, it keeps moving back.
I switched off for the night and came back to it the next day. I had the same issue on all maps and all servers I tried. Strangely, I tried out BF3 and had the same issue.
There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with my internet connection, 9Mb/s download and 30-40ms ping. Nothing changed between rounds when the issue first appeared. No issue with single player game.
I've tried moving BF4 from SSD to HDD and back, no change.
I've searched the internet and can't really find any clues.

Please, does anyone have any suggestions? At the moment I can't play BF4 any more.
