Windows 10: Games supplied with new Xbox One X

Hi,

I recently purchased an Xbox One X. It came with a couple of games, most notably Fallout 76.

The packaging says "Full Game - for both Xbox One & Windows 10 PC"

I have downloaded it onto my Xbox successfully but not my PC.

When I received an Invalid Code message I contacted Bethesda who said it is for Xbox only.

Is this correct? If so, I think this is false advertising or very misleading at the very least.

PC Game Bar

Do you like to record your gameplay on Windows 10 and share it with your friends? How about creating highlight reels or compilation videos? What kind of features would you like easy access to while playing a game? Team Xbox is looking for your contributions on how you would like to use Game Bar in Windows 10 right before, during, and after finishing a gaming session.

Take some time to explore the current Game Bar by pressing Win + G while playing a game on PC, then swing by the Idea Drive with your thoughts and feedback. A few examples of existing user ideas include:

Need to fix XBOX game dvr or suggestions for a recording software just like xbox game dvr

To further troubleshoot your concern, w suggest that you run the Windows App Troubleshooter from this link. 

If you are still experiencing the same issue, follow the steps below to reset the Windows Store cache and update Xbox App.

Press Windows key + X on your keyboard. 

Click on Command Prompt (Admin). 

Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter. 

Close the Command prompt, and then launch Windows Store. 

Update the Xbox App in the Windows Store.  

If there is no option for you to update it, uninstall and reinstall the app. 

Please make sure that the record option for Game DVR on the Xbox App is enabled. To do that, follow the steps below:

Open the Xbox App.

On the left pane, click the gear icon to view Settings.

Select Game DVR.

Make sure Record game clips and screenshots using Game DVR is
On.

Check if your Keyboard shortcuts are accurate to the one that you are using.

Click Save if you made any changes.
