Windows 10: Gear of War download error 0x8024001E

Hye.

Referring to matter above.. I just bought the Gears of War 4 for pc last night on 2 Feb 2019, had started my download since then.

For some reason my download didn't go as smoothly as i thought. The download progress keeps on getting error and i need to refresh it quite a lot of times...and due to that my download time takes longer than it suppose to be.

Is there something i could do to fix this ? my 46% progress were gone and just now had to restart from 0%. This is frustrating...i wish someone could assist me in fixing this issue... I googled for solutions and found no helpful fix at all.

Would appreciate if i could get a respond immediately.

Gear of War download error 0x8024001E

Hey,

I just bought GoW4, added it to my Microsoft library. And I just can't download that piece of ****. Download stops like every five minutes, telling me that there is an error - 0x8024001E. I got to cca 75GB out of 200GB (what the hell). Now I'm just getting
the error constantly, can't download any more. I tried the wsreset.exe - didn't help. What else can I do?

I'm on PC - i7, 1050Ti, W10.

We understand how frustrating it could be when apps do not work the way they supposed and we truly appreciate that you tried to reset the Microsoft store. However, we would suggest you follow the steps mentioned below and check.

Method 1: Update Windows.

Please refer to
Update Windows 10 and try updating Windows and check

Method 2: Rename Software Distribution file.

1. Search for cmd in the search bar.
   
2. Right click on Command Prompt and select
   Run as administrator.
   
3. Type the following commands and make sure to press
   Enter after each command.
   

• net stop wuauserv
  
• ren c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution Softwaredistribution.old
  
• net start wuauserv
  

4. Then type Exit and try downloading the game.
