Windows 10: Gears of War 5 No Audio Steam

I recently bought Gears of War 5 on Steam and found out the audio doesn't play through my headphones but will play through my monitor. I much rather play through headphones tho.

I looked all over for fixes on steam and here but nothing seemed concrete or didn't work.

I have a HyperX headset with a usb card which allows me to plug my headset into. I update my drivers and updated windows as well but nothing has worked.

Thirteen years ago, when I began my Gears of War journey, we had no idea how big this franchise would become. And as it’s grown, we’ve dreamed of taking it to new places in different ways.

This clip reunites the franchise cast including Laura Bailey (Kait Diaz), Liam McIntyre (JD Fenix), Eugene Byrd (Del Walker) and John DiMaggio (Marcus Fenix) and features music from acclaimed composer Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Gears of War 4) who will return for Gears 5.

Because it’s Gears, you can play solo or with friends in local split-screen or online co-op, all at 4K Ultra HD resolution with stunning HDR at a smooth 60 frames per second on Xbox One X.

Developed by our team at The Coalition, Gears 5 will be released in 2019 for Xbox One and Windows 10 and will come to Xbox Game Pass on the same date as its global release.

Finally, Gears Tactics is the true Gears of War PC experience that our fans have been asking for. Developed in partnership with Splash Damage, Gears Tactics evolves turn-based tactics games combining signature fast-paced brutal action and character-driven storytelling with customizable squads, upgradable weapons, and of course, massive boss battles.

Gears of War 4 Xbox One X Enhanced was re-released on November 7, 2017 and added True 4K graphics, Dolby Atmos surround and other performance features and is available as a free update for all Gears of War 4 players. New players can get Gears of War 4 for 50% off ($19.99 USD) during E3 week.

The complete Gears of War catalog is now available on Xbox Game Pass which includes Xbox One X Enhanced updates for Gears of War 2 and Gears of War 3, adding 4K Ultra HD resolution modes to the original releases. Gears Of War 4: Live Broadcast On October 5 Kicks Off All-New Gears

On Oct. 11, a new saga for one of gaming’s most celebrated franchises will kick off with the worldwide launch of Gears of War 4. To commemorate this special event, we’re inviting fans around the world to join the festivities by tuning into Gears of War 4: Live, a live broadcast that begins at 3 PM PT (10 PM UTC) on Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Ninety digital copies of the Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition will be given away during the 90-minute broadcast, allowing winners to play four days before the game’s worldwide launch on October 11.

Hosted by Paul Scheer (The League, Children’s Hospital), Jessica Chobot (Nerdist News), Larry Hryb (Xbox Live’s Major Nelson), Scott Robison (Mr. Sark), and Justine Ezarik (iJustine), the broadcast will feature interviews with the game’s creators, including The Coalition Studio Head Rod Fergusson, as well as behind-the-scenes featurettes, exclusive gameplay, a special project by British inventor Colin Furze, and the reveal of hip-hop phenoms Run the Jewels’ in-game multiplayer characters.

The livestream will be broadcast on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Xbox.com, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook and Beam. At the Gears Art exhibition this Saturday, Oct. 1, invites will be distributed to fans to join the studio audience for the Gears of War 4: Live broadcast on Oct. 5.

Voice Actors’ Round Table. Join the voices behind JD Fenix and Kait Diaz – Liam McIntyre (Spartacus, The Flash) and Laura Bailey (Halo 5: Guardians, Final Fantasy XIII) – as they talk about the story of Gears of War 4 and how they approached the challenge of bringing a new generation of heroes to life for one of gaming’s most iconic franchises.

Recreating a Gears Lancer. Renowned YouTube creator Colin Furze offers an inside peek at how he created a real-life version of Gears of War’s iconic weapon.

Gears of War: State of the Universe. Since our last installment of Gears, a lot has happened on Sera. This retrospective piece will run fans through the entire story to refresh and whet fans’ appetite for the first chapter of a new Gears saga.
