Windows 10: General supprt

Hi Guys , hope you all well I have a general question and hope I dont offend anyone here but is this support purely for basic users ?. Ive asked one or two questions and the answer is always rather basic . I also read answers to other question and the replies are always basic ie update drivers in device manager or run a troubleshooter etc . Just am curious to know as it takes time and effort to pursue support via the community Once again hope I have not offended anyone and am hoping not to hear replies saying it depends on the individual skill level who is posing the questions . 'Generic PnP monitor' issue

Hello Angelica,

I would suggest you follow steps to update the monitor driver:

Press Windows + X keys

Choose Device manager

Click on Monitors

Right click on ‘Generic PnP monitor’ and click on update driver

Tap on Browse my computer for driver software

Tap on Let me pick from a list of available drivers

Choose ‘Generic PnP monitor’ and tap on Next

When you are done please restart the computer.

 

supprt assist not responding.

supprt assist is not responding. it gives a message that an update is available and then it keeps on updating but never opens.

also i am finding the pc to be very slow.
