Windows 10: General things

I recently shut down my computer but when I turned it back on, everything was weird. My taskbar was reset, half the shortcuts weren't there, all my downloads of pictures and videos were gone, I was signed out of everything, and my camera and photo apps don't open. I updated the drivers and restarted my computer but that didn't work. It also undid everything that I had previously done such as organize my taskbar and shortcuts. Luckily, everything on my OneDrive was still safe, but that just a little. All my apps were still there, but I could only access them through the bottom corner search and/or start. Please advise.

'Generic PnP monitor' issue

Hello Angelica,

I would suggest you follow steps to update the monitor driver:

Press Windows + X keys

Choose Device manager

Click on Monitors

Right click on ‘Generic PnP monitor’ and click on update driver

Tap on Browse my computer for driver software

Tap on Let me pick from a list of available drivers

Choose ‘Generic PnP monitor’ and tap on Next

When you are done please restart the computer.

 

Windows Generic Bluetooth Adapter

It seems that the issue occurs after the Windows Update, we suggest that you download and run the

Windows Update Troubleshooter.

If the issue persists, you can follow these steps to reinstall the Windows Generic Bluetooth Adapter.

• Go to Device Manager.
• Look for the Windows Generic Bluetooth Adapter.
• Right click, then select Uninstall.

  to scan for hardware changes.
