Windows 10: Generic Kids Account and Screen Limit on Laptop

I have a generic local account set up on a Win 10 laptop for my kids. I would like to limit usage of that to not be useable after 10PM. I have multiple kids and don't want to go through the process of creating a single account for each one of them in order to do what should be a simple "click button X to not let User Acct Y use this laptop after 10PM". Is that possible?


This feels really really simple and creating a Family account, then creating single accounts for every kid and then setting restrictions on each of those accounts seems like an overly complex solution.

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

In order to assist you better, I would like to know the following queries:

• Is the issue confined to a particular user account?
• What type of account have you logged into? Is it a Microsoft account or local account?
• Have you logged in as an Administrator?
• Do you get any error message when you try to restrict your kid to use computer?
  

To turn on Family Safety, you or at least one designated parent needs an
administrator account; the kids you choose to monitor each need a standard user account.



To check whether the account you are logged in is administrator or not please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R key.
• Type netplwiz and hit enter.
• See the account you are logged in with.

If you are not logged in as an administrator, I suggest you try logging in as administrator and check.



I would recommend you to reconfigure the Family Safety settings and check if it works.
