Windows 10: Get 0xc000000f error but can still boot to Win 10 (Tried standard fixes)

I finally updated Windows 7 to 10 (yes I'm late), but when I boot up I get the 0xc000000f error that others have seen:


Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

etc etc.

File: \Boot\BCD

Status: 0xc000000f

Info: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data.


Fortunately, hitting Enter does get Windows to boot up but I don't want to be forced to do that all the time. I looked up fix recommendations and I have tried Startup Repair from the boot USB and it said it couldn't repair. I have tried getting the Boot USB Command Prompt and entering these commands (from Windows/System32)


Type “bootrec /fixmbr” and press Enter.
Type “bootrec /fixboot” and press Enter.
Type “bootrec /rebuildbcd” and press Enter.


But it says "Cannot Find File" on all of them. (Oddly Bootrec /scanos does work)


Does anyone have any recommendations?

The boot error 0xC000000f in Windows 10 occurs when Windows attempts to read the Boot Configuration Data

In order to fix the boot error 0xC000000F in Windows 10, you can also use the built-in bootrec.exe tool. Please note that a bootable Windows Installation DVD or USB is required. The goal is to rebuild the Boot Configuration Data (BCD) that controls how Windows
10 is started.

Step 1. Reboot your computer.

Step 2. Insert the bootable DVD or USB installation disk.

Step 3. Reboot your computer again and press “R.”

Step 4. Click “Troubleshoot.”

Step 5. Click “Command Prompt.”

Step 6. Type “bootrec /fixmbr” and press Enter.

Step 7. Type “bootrec /fixboot” and press Enter.

Step 8. Type “bootrec /rebuildbcd” and press Enter.

 

Boot Problem Error: 0xc000000f - Startup repair didn't work

Running Win 10 Pro (Auto update from 7 Pro) on an HP Z210. I created a Win 10 recovery disc after the upgrade. After a recent update with a restart, my UEFI boot is not working correctly. I receive
error: 0xc000000f referring to \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD. I booted from the Win 10 recovery disc, but Startup Repair was not able to fix the problem. What other steps may I take short of completing an OS reset?
