  1. Getting access to Windows Error Reporting data for our applications

I am seeking information regarding registration for what used to be called the ‘WinQual’ program and this program is also described in a rather old Microsoft developer blog: How can a company get access to Windows Error Reporting data? - The Old New Thing microsoft.com Specifically, we would like to access Watson Error Reports CABS for our WHQL-signed device driver and user mode applications and associated DLLs. Is the ‘Device Partner Center’ the correct program to do this? Any guidance you could provide on registration would be most appreciated. Thanks,&nbs

    :)

  2. WMPlayer win32 error

List the EXACT "blah, blah" you mention, here please... for ALL installation cases!

(Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)

*Smile Getting access to Windows Error Reporting data for our applications :)

    * I have to 'step-out' now, but imo, this is the track to pursue here, & we will when I get back... so, please list that data I request!

When I get to the step that says del %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr*.dat, nothing happens.

When I get to step 5 and type in
    • regsvr32.exe mshtml.dllN
    It gives me this:
