Windows 10: Getting back Windows 10 on my laptop

Hi,


I had Windows on my Asus laptop. As there was some problem and machine was hanging frequently, gave my laptop for repair to the Asus service center. They have reloaded windows. However, I have got Windows 8.1 on my machine now instead of the Windows 10 that was on my machine. How can I get Windows 10 on my laptop now without having to pay again?

no, you can't go back..
I suggest creating a backup image of your os drive

Worth upgrading to Windows 10 with my laptop?

Since it's a laptop I would just stick with Windows 8.1 and when it's time to buy a new laptop then Windows 10. My gaming laptop that I travel with has Windows 7 and it's fine. When I buy a new laptop in a couple of years Win 10 will be nice.
