    BSOD, Bug check code 0x00000133, caused by driver hal.dll

    Lenovo ThinkPad with Intel i-7 processor, 8GB RAM, Windows 10 professional edition, suddenly crashed with BSOD, Bug check code 0x00000133, caused by driver hal.dll

    Attached is the minidump file.

    Any hints an to what might have caused the problem ?

    Hello Everyone,

    I am getting BSOD since i upgraded my windows from win 8.1 to win 10, I have checked minidump file in bluescreenview-x64 and come to know that hal.dll & ntoskrnl.exe+142940
    are causing the BSOD.

    In my another forum i got following but after doing given instruction, i am still facing same problem.

    DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION Blue Screen in Windows 10

    Anybody have any idea about how to resolve this BSOD,

    Getting BSOD caused by hal.dll / Bug Check Code : 0x00000133 in Win 10

    BSoD randomly happening, Mostly Bug check 0x00000133


    Just put together an Asus P5Q-E with a nVidia GeForce GT 730 video card. Constantly getting black screens eventualy ending in a BSoD with a DPC Watchdog Violation with a Bug check code: 0x00000133 with hal.dll & ntoskrnl.exe being the main culprits. Any help would be appreciated.
