Windows 10: Getting error while opening the camera 0xA00F4244 error

Unable to find the camera on device manager external camera is working but not the internal camera showing error camera 0xA00F4244

Camera not opening - error code - 0xA00F4244

Hi,

My laptop is Lenovo Ideapad 520S.

I am getting the error 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached> error when I open the Camera App.

I tried many solution provided in the community / internet but nothing works.

In the device manager neither the Cameras or Imaging devices is showing up. When I tried to add the new hardware in the device manager, I am not getting the device listed both in Cameras and Imaging devices.

Kindly help to resolve the issue.

Whenever I click on the Microsoft camera app I get a message saying that "We can't find your camera" and the error code: 0xA00F4244<NoCamerasAreAttached> The "Get Help thing troubleshooted it, and reset it. Still didn't work. It also had me look under Device
Manager and under camera/ imaging devices and my camera was not listed. Not sure if the device manager one only works for USB cameras though. Then the "Get Help" said "I don't have any further troubleshooting steps for this right now." and listed a
few options for getting help which led me here.
